We are glad you are taking the time to learn a little bit about who is behind “Shopping in the Past”
We are a creative husband and wife team that enjoys buying, collecting, creating and selling vintage items, at prices you can afford. Each item is carefully chosen, we don’t just offer a item because it is a big seller or hot item, we only buy and sell items that we like, and feel connected to one way or another. We do this because we enjoy it !
We sell vintage crafts to kitchen items and photographs, but we take special interest in costume vintage jewelry, so you will have a wonderful choice to choose from. Along the side of our vintage costume jewelry has to be our collections from the 1980’s. She grew up with those times and still amazed with the “Boldness” that comes from the 80’s, so there is a special category for it.
We are sure you will find something you like for yourself or for a friend, but if for some reason you do not, please let us know what particular item your are looking for, and we will be on the look out for it. We buy our items from local auctions and estate sales, so we never know what we may come across.
